Terry Farr Real Estate School is a full-time Real Estate Education Center full accredited by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission. The school was established in 1988 and has operated continuously since that time adding Continuing Education courses in 1994.
We offer Continuing Education courses on a varying schedule in an effort to meet the needs of our students. A variety of electives are available regularly at our school in Fayetteville while select courses are offered state-wide. For more information concerning these courses, please contact the school.
We offer day, evening and weekend classes for Pre-Licensing candidates, day and evening courses for Post-Licensing candidates as described inside this pamphlet. All our full-time instructors are active in their respective fields and are members of both the Fayetteville Association of Realtors and the North Carolina Real Estate Educators Association.
Our office hours are Monday thru Thursday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Friday 8:30 am -1:00 pm. We have a full-time staff to help you with any of your questions.
The North Carolina Real Estate Commission requires a minimum number of classroom hours to qualify individuals to sit for the state licensing exam. Terry Farr Real Estate School offers a 75 hour Pre-Licensing schedule which we believe will properly prepare any individual to pass the state licensing exam on their first attempt.
Individuals who are licensed in other states wishing to become licensed in North Carolina should contact the North Carolina Real Estate Commission (919-875-3700) concerning their unique situation. Likewise, North Carolina licenses interested in becoming licensed in another state should contact the Real Estate Commission of that state to determine licensing requirements.
